Grab a coffee, hot chocolate or warm cider, and spend an afternoon strolling through a pumpkin patch, picking out something for the front porch, or admiring colorful glass pumpkins. Sometimes a little time outside with your favorite people is all you need to settle into the season.

From Silicon Valley to Half Moon Bay and the Santa Cruz coast, this guide brings together pumpkin patches, fall festivities and glass pumpkin events, organized by location to help you plan your next outing.

Campbell

Campbell Oktoberfest

A downtown outing with arts and crafts vendors, food, live music, and beer and wine available for purchase.

Where: Downtown Campbell.
When: October 17, 2026, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; October 18, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Good to know: Festival admission is free; purchases are extra.

Creepy Crawly Halloween Trick-or-Treat

Put on a costume and join Downtown Campbell’s community Halloween celebration, with trick-or-treating and plenty of people-watching.

Where: Downtown Campbell, around East Campbell Avenue and North First Street.
When: October 25, 2026, 4–6 p.m.
Good to know: Free to attend. Organizers advise that it gets crowded; think of it as a costume outing, with candy as a bonus.

Morgan Hill

Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch

Spina offers enough to build an afternoon or evening around, with pumpkin shopping, rides, dinosaur attractions and plenty of food choices.

Where: Laguna Avenue at Santa Teresa Boulevard, Morgan Hill.
When: September 17–November 2, 2026, weather permitting. October hours are generally 9 a.m.–9 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and 8:30 a.m.–10 p.m. Friday–Saturday; October 31 has a different schedule. Check your date.
Things to do: Train, Cow Train, the new-for-2026 Bee Train, corn maze, Pumpkin Blasters, hayride with Dino Walk, separate Dino Ride, and Pumpkin Cups.
Food and treats: Pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie and caramel apples, plus roasted corn, baked potatoes, tacos and churros, burgers, corn dogs, chicken tenders, coffee, shaved ice, cotton candy and kettle corn. Vendor availability may vary.
Admission and rides: Entry is free; attractions cost extra. The $45 Park Pass covers six attractions: Train, Cow Train, Bee Train, corn maze, Pumpkin Blasters and hayride with Dino Walk. Dino Ride and Pumpkin Cups are separate at $8 each. Individual tickets are also available.
Parking: Generally free Monday–Thursday and $30 cash Friday–Sunday. The calendar also lists $30 parking on Monday, October 12.
Good to know: Attraction tickets are sold on-site only, and sales end 45 minutes before closing. Outside food is allowed; alcohol and pets are not. Service animals are permitted.

Dates to watch: September 29 is advertised as a half-price Park Pass day; those discounted passes are valid on Tuesdays during the 2026 season. October 31 is marked “Special Event,” with hours of 9 a.m.–9 p.m., but the listing does not yet describe the event. Check the calendar for updates.

San Jose

ABC Tree Farms & Pick of the Patch Pumpkins

For a pumpkin stop closer to home, ABC lists several seasonal San Jose locations. Check the individual lot before choosing your destination, since hours and offerings vary.

Where: 1832 Hillsdale Avenue, behind Jiffy Lube; 605 Blossom Hill Road, in the VTA parking lot near Highway 85; and 2200 Eastridge Loop at Eastridge Way.
When: Fall season; see current lot schedules.
Good to know: ABC’s inflatable attractions are for children ages 2–12, and socks are required.

San Martin

LJB Farms Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkins, a corn maze, a Kid Zone and seasonal photo spots make this a South County option for a fall outing.

Where: 585 Fitzgerald Avenue, San Martin.
When: September 26–October 31, 2026.
Good to know: Confirm pumpkin patch hours and activity charges directly with the farm before visiting.

Santa Clara

ABC Tree Farms & Pick of the Patch Pumpkins

Choose pumpkins, take a seasonal photo, or add time on the inflatable attractions for the kids.

Where: 3712 El Camino Real, with the entrance on Halford Avenue.
When: Opened September 18, 2026. Posted hours: Monday–Thursday, 2–8 p.m.; Friday, 2–9 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday, 10 a.m.–9 p.m.
Good to know: No admission or parking fee. Inflatable wristbands cost extra and are for ages 2–12; bring socks.

Queens Pumpkin Patch

A local option with pumpkins and activities including a corn maze, hayrides, a petting zoo and train rides.

Where: 12985 Saratoga Avenue, Saratoga.
When: Seasonal operation; confirm your visit date and hours directly with the patch.

Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival

Make a coastal day of this fall celebration, with giant pumpkins, art, live music, food and seasonal festivities along Main Street.

Where: Main Street, downtown Half Moon Bay.
When: October 17–18, 2026, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. both days.
Good to know: Admission is free; food and other purchases are extra. Allow extra travel time and check the festival’s parking and transportation information before leaving.
Another date for pumpkin fans: The separate World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off begins at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 12, at the IDES Grounds, 735 Main Street.

Lemos Farm Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkins and seasonal decorations share the farm with train and hayrides, a petting zoo, pony rides, a haunted house and other attractions.

Where: 12320 San Mateo Road, Half Moon Bay.
When: September 5–November 15, 2026. Open weekends and select weekdays in September, daily in October, and weekends only in November. October hours are 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Good to know: Advance tickets are recommended; walk-in availability depends on capacity. Review pass inclusions and activity restrictions before purchasing.

Swanton Berry Farm: A Coastal Farmstand Stop

If you’re making a day of the coast, consider a stop for farm-made baked goods and seasonal produce. The farmstand lists pumpkins among its seasonal offerings.

When: The farmstand currently lists daily hours of 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Good to know: This is a farmstand stop; confirm pumpkin availability before making a special trip. Baked goods vary with the season.

Rodoni Farms U Pick Em Pumpkins

Head toward the coast for pumpkin fields, hay bales, seasonal photo spots and a five-acre corn maze.

Where: 4444 Coast Road, Highway 1, approximately four miles north of Santa Cruz. Head to the pumpkin patch rather than the separate produce stand.
When: September 26–October 31, 2026, daily from 9 a.m.–6 p.m., rain or shine.

A Few Tips Before You Go

Check the official schedule on the day of your visit, especially for outdoor attractions.
Budget for parking, admission and activities separately. Free entry does not necessarily include rides.
Wear comfortable shoes for farm visits, and bring socks if inflatables are on the agenda.
For glass pumpkin events, check the dates carefully. Some last only a day or a weekend.
For coastal outings, bring a layer and allow extra driving time, especially on festival weekends.
